Mary’s Apothecary is forging a movement towards environmental awareness, and opening the conversation around exceptional products being available to all.

Breathe life into a home-made brand that is leading a movement to change the way consumers see their products, and inspire change in buying habits.

Mary Larson is the face of Mary’s Apothecary, and is well-known in the community for her successful downtown retail business, Larson’s General. This low-waste living shop presents an impressive range of earth-friendly products, from skin and body, to home and baby. Larson’s General is the only place in La Crosse to refill empty containers (laundry detergent, dish soap, skincare, and more), with the purpose of reducing single-use plastic. 

Next Project

Inspired by Mary herself, the logo presents a whimsical and retro tone. Whimsical to embody the joy of caring for ourselves and having the option to choose products that benefit, not hurt, us. Retro to embody older, more traditional and nature-based methodologies, before chemicals found their way into many of our daily products.
