Apothik’s forward-thinking cuisine inspired a brand that honors its past while telling the story of where it’s headed next.
What began as a beloved food truck in the La Crosse community, evolved into a brick and mortar restaurant, and finally into the official caterer of a local events center. The truck’s rotating menu of delightful and innovative dishes (think beef ramen, spicy vegetable udon, poblano chicken tacos, and their infamous Med bowl—hungry yet?) captured the attention of both foodies and those with basic taste buds alike. When Apothik began its shift into the catering space, it was time to evolve from its Canva-created logo into a full-on brand that captivated in the same way its flavors did.
The Apothik name was inspired by old-time, traditional apothecaries, and the hands-on precision and creative mixology of its craft—the kind of precision, care, and creativity we value in our food. Bringing this traditionalism into a modern rebrand was exciting, and a hand-drawn logo introduces fun, snappy energy through elegant flairs and a hint of retro expression. Accompanying graphics and colors play into a nostalgic and playful brand experience.
