Mary Larson, founder of Mary's Apothecary, runs a successful retail business in downtown La Crosse, WI with her husband Josh. Larson's General is a low-waste living shop that offers earth-friendly skin, body, home, and baby products. A major component of Larson's General is the option to refill empty containers with the goal to reduce single-use plastic.

Enter Mary's Apothecary: High-quality, plant-based, refillable skin and body care. The brand was created to make safe, effective products available to everyone while reducing environmental waste. As you may have already guessed, packaging is a huge component of Mary's... There was a time when plastic didn't exist (can you imagine) and Mary's core mission is to help eliminate single-use plastic containers.

The logo, whimsically illustrated after Mary herself, adorns all packaged items, which are complemented with typography that reflects and honors the past.
